Ideas That Make Your Wedding Economical Yet Exceptional

Every girl grows up to have special plans for her wedding day. Sad but true, dreams are never controlled by practical things like budget, but reality is. It is only before the actual wedding does the girl realizes that her dreams of the fairytale wedding were perhaps too fantastic for her means. Be it a Santa Barbara wedding or a Venture wedding, it is an accepted fact that weddings are perhaps one of the costliest events in ones life. All said, it has to be agreed upon that for most people a wedding is also a once in a lifetime encounter. Hence, it is essential to at least get somewhere near that much-dreamed-of wedding without going over the top.

The first, and the most vital, step is planning the wedding. Plan your own nuptials and save cash on costly wedding planners. The amount you save here will be substantial and you can easily use it on something more important. The planning stage can be further divided into sub-steps. Make sure you begin planning well in advance. This will allow you to execute your plan in the best possible way and make required changes as you move ahead. You will also be freed of a lot of unnecessary eleventh hour stress. Also, keep your mind receptive to certain divergences from your plan.

Preparation of the list of invitees is an important part of planning. You will certainly want all people who matter to be a part of your special day and would be sorry all your life if you miss out on inviting anyone. Hence, spend enough time in putting together that list of important people who will make your wedding day even more special by just being present. Take care when you put down these names on the list and make sure that you forget no one. However, it is not mandatory to invite each and every person you’ve ever associated with. There may be a few invitations that you would not mind skipping. After all, you must remember that you are on a budget.

The other list that needs to be written down is the list of priorities. Enlist things you must have for the wedding, followed by things that you might wish to include, in their order of priority. Start removing things from the bottom of the list. In this way you can trim the extra cost while retaining all things that are fundamental to your dream wedding. Think of the type of wedding banquet you would like to host. A buffet lunch would be a good way of saving money on the food. Dinner might cost you some extra money. You could add a touch of style by decorating the reception venue and tables beautifully. You could think of following a theme.

A great way of cutting down on your wedding expenses without compromising on the exclusivity of the wedding would be to seek the help of friends and family. Their service in activities like planning, arranging the food, booking the venue, photography, beautification of the venue, etc. would be invaluable, as you will not have to spend extra money on acquiring professional help. At the same time, you will feel loved on finding so many people doing all they can to make your wedding a big one. Thus, a wedding budget does not always translate into a compromised wedding. With some amount of innovation and a little bit of help, you can have that big fat wedding you have always dreamed of.
